Q: What is ProPlay Basketball?
A: ProPlay Basketball is an exciting new system that connects basketball players with player positions at professional teams worldwide.
By harnessing powerful database and Internet technologies, ProPlay lets pro teams view a wide variety of information about college players. This information can be text (stat sheets, coach's assessments, etc.) or video (full game videos, player interviews, etc.)
The system was developed with the input of key industry figures including college and pro team coaches, the NABC, and the NCAA.
Q: How will ProPlay help me?
A: ProPlay acts as an important, centralized resource for pro clubs looking to recruit and sign both experienced and rookie players.
If you're with a collegiate-level program, this is important because it will save you time and money. Since info about your players is posted on ProPlay's site (and can be viewed many, many times by interested pro teams), you'll only have to prepare player information one time- thus saving you valuable time. And, you'll save money because you won't have to prepare and mail out player info packets to interested pro teams.
If you're with a professional-level team, ProPlay is a huge time and money saver for you as well! Instead of having to comb through endless reports, interviews, etc., you'll be able to quickly and efficiently search for only those players that match your specific needs- all in the convenience of a single web site. Needless to say, this will save you considerable money, since your research and recruitment efforts will be made much more efficient.
Q: How will ProPlay help my students?
A: ProPlay provides two principal benefits to program-leaving student athletes. First, you'll help your eligibility-exhausted athletes improve their chances of finding playing positions at pro teams because you'll be dramatically increasing their exposure to many, many pro teams around the world. This happens because of the extensive number of international pro teams that use ProPlay to look for players.
Second, because of the enhanced marketing opportunities for eligibility-exhausted players that ProPlay provides, there is less incentive for anyone to become involved with any unscrupulous agents. This helps to encourage players to market themselves in appropriate, acceptable ways, thereby lessening the temptation to become involved in questionable "deals" that could jeopardize their eligibility.
Q: Is ProPlay easy to use?
A: Yes! ProPlay was designed from the start with ease of use in mind. Hence, the site is very easy to navigate and use, and the underlying concepts behind ProPlay (e.g., personal Media Locker, etc.) are all very simple and straightforward.

Q: Who will add the students' information to the site?
A: Nothing could be easier! Simply send us your player tapes, stat sheets, etc. and let us upload them onto ProPlay site for you. This service is available at no additional charge to you!
Q: How much will ProPlay cost?
A: ProPlay is based on an "annual subscription" model. By this, we mean that ProPlay is available to you by simply paying one low annual subscription fee. If you prefer, we also offer a payment plan that makes this low annual subscription fee even more affordable!
We are "transparent" with our pricing- there are NO hidden fees or charges to pay, either by you or by your players. All you pay is what's in black and white, on your subscription agreement!

Technical Questions
Q: Is ProPlay secure?
A: Yes! Any personal information on the site is stored on a separate server and protected using several layers of security.
Q: Which platforms and browsers will ProPlay function on?
A: We continually work to ensure that Proplay will work on as many popular browsers and platforms as possible. The software has been tested under Windows and Mac OSX, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 5+ and Netscape Navigator 4+ browsers. In order to view the players' video files, Windows Media Player software is required. Windows Media Player is available for Windows and Macintosh platforms.
Additional requirements are that your computer must have at least 16 MB RAM and a high-speed connection to the Internet.
Q: How do I get a login and password?
A: To obtain your ProPlay Basketball login and password, just contact us. We'll send you everything that you need to begin experiencing ProPlay today!.
Q: Why can't I view My Locker?
A: In order to view your Locker, you must be logged into the ProPlay Basketball site. Login using the form on the left of the page, underneath the ProPlay Basketball logo.
